As we exit the February dead period, top athletes in the 2025 class are sharing their top schools, scheduling campus visits, and some even making spring commitments. Here’s a look at some names that will make an impact on their positions on the recruiting trail:

Bo Jackson

Cleveland, OH (Villa Angela-St. Joseph)

#72 NAT, #6 RB, #4 OH

The dynamic down-hill runner from the State of Ohio stands in at 6’1″, 200 pounds, currently holding 21 offers, including offers from Ohio State, Texas A&M, Georgia, and most recently Alabama. The all-state player has a knack for making players miss in the open field and is a strong runner between the tackles.

It will be a busy spring for Jackson, with a lengthy list of campus visits scheduled, including trips to Penn State, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Alabama. I am giving an early edge to coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes, but this recruitment still looks to be wide open.

Early Prediction: Ohio State

Anquon Fegans

Alabaster, AL (Thompson)

#34 NAT, #3 S, #2 AL

Building a “no-fly zone” is easier when you have a safety that could lock down one side of the field, and Anquon Fegans is a player who fits the bill. Holding 32 offers that include Clemson, Auburn, and most recently, Washington makes it apparent that Fegans is a priority to top schools across the country.

A former USC commit, Fegans has visits scheduled for this summer to Clemson and Georgia, but coach Hugh Freeze and Auburn seem to have made a great impression on Fegans at their Junior Day on February 3rd. There’s still a lot of time to go in this one, but Auburn looks to have an early edge.

Early Prediction: Auburn

Julian Lewis

Carrollton, GA (Carrollton)

#9 NAT, #2 QB, #3 GA

Before reclassifying, Julian Lewis was the top quarterback in the 2026 class, and he’s been committed to USC since last August. The 6’1″, 185-pound quarterback has recently been testing recruiting waters by visiting Colorado, Indiana, and Georgia, indicating there is still some work to be done in this recruitment.

While he still hasn’t broken off his commitment with coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans, I think this one is going to be a wild ride to the finish. Lewis seems to like what he sees with Georgia, and it’s hard to count out Kirby Smart and the Dawgs.

Early Prediction: Georgia

Cameron Sparks

Chattanooga, TN (Baylor School)

#90 NAT, #2 ATH, #3 TN

Cameron Sparks is one of the most underrated players in the 2025 class. Listed as an athlete who could play multiple positions on both sides of the ball, Sparks is seen by most as a wide receiver at the next level, the kind of player that can hurt you from anywhere on the field.

Sparks recently released a final six schools that included Tennessee, Auburn, Michigan, Florida State, Georgia, and Miami. Auburn and coach Hugh Freeze seem to have a lot of momentum in this one, but a recent visit to Tennessee seems to have put the Vols in a favorable spot with the talented receiver.

Early Prediction: Tennessee
