Another full day of recruiting news with multiple top players announcing their top schools. Mike Farrell Sports recaps all of the news from May 25th.


Ohio Safety Releases Top Five

2024 four-star safety Reggie Powers has trimmed down his list of offers to five, which includes Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Cincinnati, and Northwestern.

The 6’1, 195-pound safety out of Centerville High School in Dayton, OH, is currently ranked as the 34th safety in the nation and 12th overall player in Ohio. The star player has a full schedule of official visits, with Pittsburgh (June 2-4) being the first to host him and his family. Michigan State (June 9-11), Cincinnati (June 16-18), and Ohio State (June 23-25) are the other schools that will host him next month. His first official visit was to Northwestern in May.


Top 20 RB Announces Top Schools

2024 four-star RB DeJuan Williams released his top eight schools: Syracuse, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Maryland, Oregon, and Stanford.

The 5’10.5, 195-pound running back out of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, MD, is currently ranked as the 235th player in the nation (#17 RB) and 5th overall player in Maryland. The star athlete has not released his official visit schedule, but Maryland has been rumored to be the favorite to land thus far, but with summer visits approaching, that could change.

Top 100 Player Releases Top Five

2024 four-star DL Amaris Williams has released his top five schools: Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Penn State, and NC State.

The 6’3, 260-pound defensive lineman out of Clinton High School in Clinton, NC, is currently ranked as the 88th player in the nation (#15 DL) and second overall player in North Carolina. Williams has two official visits scheduled thus far NC State (June 9-11) and Florida (June 16-18). He had a tremendous season last year, putting up 65 tackles and 18 sacks on the defensive side, along with 32 carries for 251 yards and five rushing touchdowns. As of now, he has not announced a date on when he will make his decision.


Top 10 Offensive Lineman Down to Six

2024 four-star OT Michael Uini has announced his top six schools: Alabama, Clemson, Texas, Florida, Michigan, and Georgia.

The 6’7, 275-pound offensive tackle out of Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove, TX, is currently ranked as the 152nd player in the nation (#10 OT) and 27th overall player in Texas. Uini has a busy schedule with official visits coming up. He will be at Clemson (June 2-4), Florida (June 9-11), Michigan (June 16-18), and Georgia (June 23-25) next month, along with Alabama (October 20-22). There is no timeline for him to make his decision as he looks to visit his top schools before making an announcement.


Top 45 WR Down to Four

2024 four-star Bredell Richardson has released his final four schools, which include LSU, Michigan, Oregon, and Michigan State.

The 6’0, 190-pound receiver out of Carrollwood Day High School in Tampa, FL, is currently ranked as the 285th player in the nation (#45 WR) and 43rd overall player in Florida. Last season, in nine games, he recorded 21 receptions for 405 yards and three touchdowns. There is no public schedule of his official visits, but he took unofficial visits to Michigan, LSU, and Florida last summer. There is not much knowledge of when he will make his decision known but there is a possibility he could announce soon.
