We’ll keep the scouting reports rolling on top prospects from across the country.
Jayden Lewis – CB
Anniston, AL (Anniston High School)
Solid height, good arm length, and adequate weight. Lean frame with broad shoulders and solid muscle definition in his upper half. At the snap he displays good foot quickness when getting into his back pedal. Shows a solid ability to open up his hips and utilize his good closing speed and range to help his CBs from over the top. Is a willing tackler that will tolerate contact. Plays with solid positioning which allows him to showcase his good ball skills due to his good closing speed allowing him to jump routes to create turnovers. Displays solid COD and good lateral agility when playing between multiple receivers when in Zone coverage. Also shows some versatility to his game through his good top end speed when returning kickoffs, which is attributed to his track speed.
Adequate ability to stay in phase with receivers when in man coverage due to lack of technique, which allows for the receiver to create separation. Back pedal is upright and not very smooth/natural due to some hip stiffness/flexibility issues. He does have the athletic ability to get away with a lack of technique at the high school level, but that will not be something he can get away with at the collegiate level. Good overall prospect thanks to his physical tools that will need to be coached up and get his body right before he will see the field at the next level.

Kevin Riley – RB
Northpoint, AL (Tuscaloosa County High School)
Adequate frame, good suddenness and burst when he gains possession of the ball and utilizes his good vision and ability to create to work inside-out to get to the second level and get into his good top end speed. Shows very good knee drive through the explosiveness and power he runs with, resulting in good contact balance and ability to break tackles by dropping his shoulder and continuing to drive his knees. Solid COD and good lateral agility when making all types of defenders miss both in open field and in traffic between the tackles, which is also contributed to by his suddenness and vision. Has the ability to bounce an inside run to the outside when none of the holes open up due to his suddenness, lateral agility, and burst. Displays good versatility to be able to catch passes out of the backfield with good hands and below his waistline while maintaining good body control. Willing blocker that utilizes good leverage and good punch to knock defenders off balance.
Size could be a bit better, would like to see a bit more physical development over the next two years. Elite one cut back prospect that can have an immediate impact in a lot of programs at the P5 level as long as he continues to develop physically and refine his technique.

Kamari McClellan – QB
Pinson, AL (Clay-Chalkville High School)
Good height and arm length with adequate weight. Lean frame with slight muscle definition throughout. Displays good arm strength through a mix of natural arm talent and good footwork, hips, and transfer of weight in his throws. Solid two-piece release and shows he is capable of throwing from different arm angles. Good pocket presence with the courage to stand and take a hit to make a throw. Will leave the pocket when it is necessary and will keep eyes downfield rather than immediately pull the ball down and run. Squares his shoulders when throwing on the run. Has the arm talent to throw with accuracy off platform. Also displays solid overall ball placement when attacking all 3 levels of the defense, by always putting the ball where his receivers can make a play on it. Elusive in the pocket due to his good foot quickness and lateral agility. Once in open field he utilizes his solid burst, COD, and top end speed to create with his legs.
The two things he will need to continue to build upon is his ball placement and making sure his body continues to develop. Well-rounded prospect with high upside that with the right development will be a starter by year 2.

Cameron Coleman – WR
Phenix, AL (Central High School)
Aligns as an outside receiver and displays solid acceleration when facing no resistance at the LOS. Able to create separation in his route through his acceleration and solid top end. Utilized in his offense as a player that can take the top off a defense. Even when he is not able to create the necessary separation, he is able to elevate with good body control and high point the football with soft, strong hands and maintain possession all the way through contact and the ground. Also shows the coordination to time up his jump so he can maximize the height at which he can high point the ball at. Displays good body control not only when adjusting and elevating for the ball, but also when making sure he keeps his feet in bounds while securing the catch near the sideline or in the endzone. Able to create YAC through his solid contact balance and his ability to keep feet moving on contact.
Adequate COD at both route breakpoint with his inability to sink his hips and when attempting to elude defenders when creating YAC in space due to his adequate flexibility in his hips. Displays wasted movement at the snap as he sinks back into his heels preventing him from being more explosive/sudden off the LOS. Adequate foot quickness also seen as preventing him from being dangerous in short areas, resulting in a marginal ability to make defenders miss in space. Will need to refine his route running to become a more versatile receiver, which will elevate his game to a whole new level. Currently is a deep and redzone threat that is a reliable short yardage target due to his good hands. Not someone to rely solely on for YAC, even though through contact balance and effort he will gain extra yards. High ceiling, low floor prospect that is very raw. Once his frame is fully developed and he refines his technique, he will be a force at all 3 levels of the field because of the mismatches he will create.
