We’ll keep the scouting reports rolling on top prospects from across the country.

Jordan Seaton – IOL

Washington, DC (St. John’s College High School)

Interior offensive line prospect that has good speed, height, and size. He has very good strength, he moves the defender off the spot when attacking on rushing plays. Passes off double teams well and gives his teammate an advantage before quickly working up to the second level. Good punch and solid hand positioning. Good finish driving the defender back and the strength to drive them to the ground. In pass pro he has a good anchor and set the pocket well. He is a smart player does a good job adjusting to delayed blitzes, he identifies the immediate threat and takes them out of the play.

He plays high and has to make up for it with his strength. He will need to improve his target and positioning when blocking smaller defenders at the second and third level and should be improved when working with college coaches. Very good prospect who’s skillset translates well to any scheme, but he would do well in the more physical run heavy style of some of the teams in the SEC. Should find himself in the rotation quickly and develop into a reliable starting IOL. He has the upside and the tools to develop into an outland trophy finalist and has the ability to be a corner stone of an offensive line unit that finishes as a Joe Moore award finalist.

DD Holmes – DL

Washington, DC (Gonzaga High School)

4-3 or 3-4 defensive end prospect that has good speed and strength. Very good play recognition, he identifies where the ball is going and positions himself well to make plays on the ball carrier. High motor, doesn’t give up on plays and has the athleticism to catch the ball carrier from behind. Shows a good understanding of pursuit angles to make plays on the ball carrier when they are running away from him. Aggressive blitzer that has the awareness to get his hands up and knock the ball down if he can’t close. Very good block shedding he has a good swim move to keep the defenders hands off of him and good strength to get extension on the blocker preventing them from getting into his body and taking him out of the play. Very good at containing the backside of the defense pushing the ball carrier back inside to where he has support.

Dives at the feet of runners in the open field which allows them to pull away from him; this should improve as he develops his tackling skills and his athleticism at the next level. He is a multisport athlete also playing basketball in high school. He should be a fast contributor on special teams. Good prospect who’s skillset translates better to a 4-3 defense that will allow him to come off the edge and contain the backside of the defense. He would fit well in the more physical style of the Big 10 where he will have more opportunities to defend the run and show his pass rush skills. Should work his way into the rotation quickly and develop into a reliable DE with college coaching and training.

Kristopher Jones – LB

Stafford, VA (Mountain View High School)

Off-ball linebacker prospect that has good speed and play recognition. He can read where the designed gap in the running game is and positions himself well to make the play on the ball carrier. He takes good pursuit angles to make plays on the ball carrier in the open field and shows solid understanding of how to contain the backside of the play to prevent cutbacks and misdirection plays. Good block shedding ability, he has good strength and can get separation on the blocker. Good reliable tackler. Solid pass rushing skills in blitzing situations. Good in zone situations where he has his eyes to the QB he covers his area and breaks on the ball when its thrown.

Was not often asked to play man coverage and is a question for the next level. Very good special teams player that blocked a few punts and should be an immediate contributor on special teams. He has versatility in the front 7 and should find ways to contribute to any program. Good prospect that’s skillset can contribute to any defense. He would fit in well with the heavy run style of the Big 10 where he can show off his run stopping skills. Should work his way into the rotation quickly and develop into a reliable LB with college coaching and training.

Keylen Adams – WR

Virginia Beach, VA (Green Run High School)

Wide Receiver prospect that has good speed and explosiveness. Smart player that quickly identifies the coverage and knows when to settle in the zone. He has a good release off the LOS, against press man he keeps the defender off of his body and is able to use his speed to create separation from the defender. He has good strength and courage he fights back to the ball willingly taking on contact through the route, he will also work across the middle of the field. Versatile WR that has played all 3 WR positions and has been used as a runner on end arounds and out of the backfield. Very good YAC ability he has good moves in the open field and is a threat to score any time he gets his hands on the ball.

Needs to learn to stem his routes better at the top of his routes. He’s shown limited routes in high school mostly running slants, verticals and curls. Should be an immediate contributor on special teams’ contributor as a returner and gunner. Good prospect that’s skillset could help any team at the next level that would fit in well with the pass heavy teams in the ACC where he can be an immediate contributor in the passing game. Should work his way into the rotation quickly and develop into a reliable WR with college coaching and training.
