The State of Delaware has a rich tradition of producing talented football players, both at the high school and college levels. One of the top quarterbacks in the country plays in Delaware, Drew Marks, a top prospect for the 2027 class.

At 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, Marks left his mark on the gridiron for Smyrna High School last season. Marks threw for 2,100 yards, 19 touchdowns and completed 69 percent of his passes. In addition, he rushed for more than 400 yards.

Against the Delaware Military Academy, Marks threw five TD passes and completed 81 percent of his throws in a 36-6 victory. Marks threw four touchdown passes against Cape Henlopen in a winning effort.

For his efforts, Marks earned First-Team All-District and Second-Team All-State honors. He also ranks among the Top 150 quarterbacks in the country (No. 139), according to QB Hit List.

Marks works diligently on his craft, training with former Delaware quarterback Nolan Henderson three days per week. He lifts weights four days a week and engages in speed training and plyometrics three days a week.

Marks’s athleticism extends to another sport as well, lacrosse. He plays for his school and also for Brotherly Love Lacrosse, the No. 12-ranked travel lacrosse team nationally in the AA classification.
