The area around the Ozark Mountain Range, spanning multiple states, is loaded with talented high school football teams and players, including 2029 LB/TE Ty Florey of the Valley View Blazers in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Florey brings his talent and athleticism to a Valley View High team that is coming off a 12-1 season in 2024, including a 10-0 regular season and a conference title. The Blazers have lost just three games over the last two seasons, posting 22 wins.
At Valley View Junior High last season, Florey posted 51 total tackles (22 solo), six tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.

Every week, you will find Florey camped out in the weight room, training with the weights four days per week. Twice a week, Florey works on his speed and agility with former NFL player Darien Griswold. In addition, Florey trains at Linebacker University twice per year in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Florey also excels at baseball. He plays multiple positions, including first base, third base, and is a right-handed pitcher, throwing up to 84 mph.
In the classroom, Florey is an academic all-star, maintaining a 4.2 GPA and already taking high school-level courses.
Florey’s style of play is prowling, growling sideline to sideline. He is also adept at making plays in a scrum at the line of scrimmage, and he can chase you down in the open field.
Florey creates chaos in space and at the line of scrimmage with his combination of size, strength, and speed. He has a high motor and does not slack off on any plays.
Offensively, he will play a hybrid TE/WR at times. He catches the ball very well with his hands, and takes advantage of his height, and can high-point the ball and make plays over defenders.
Already in his football career, Florey has received numerous football camp invitations from some of the top programs in college football, including LSU, SMU, TCU, Illinois, Kansas, Purdue, Memphis, North Texas, Texas St., Arkansas St., Illinois St. and Drake University.

The Godfather of Recruiting, Mike Farrell, said this about Florey,
“2029 LB Ty Florey should be on everyone’s radar. 6-3, 200 already and chase.”
