On the football proving grounds of Ohio, talent is abundant in the high school ranks. And in Avon, Ohio, the Avon Eagles were the No. 1 team in the state in 2024, finished 16-0 and won their first-ever football state championship. One of the many leaders on the team is offensive lineman Maximus Hauck.
Hauck has elite size that translates to the college level at 6-foot-3, 295 pounds, and is versatile enough to play guard and center at the next level. He will play tackle this season for the Eagles.
As part of one of Ohio’s best high school offensive lines, aptly named “The Moving Company,” Hauck led the way for an Eagles offense that averaged 38 points per game and gained 3,100 rushing yards. Hauck recorded 75 pancake blocks, allowed zero sacks and zero quarterback pressures.

In the state championship game against the Anderson Raptors, played at Tom Benson Stadium at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, the Eagles took a 20-13 lead into the fourth quarter.
Anderson drove the ball down to the Avon 10-yard line. The Raptors kept running the ball into the middle of Avon’s defense front, led by Hauck and Jeremiah Kelly.
But the Raptors were stopped in their tracks and Avon held on to win 20-13. Kelly, a freshman with the Cincinnati Bearcats, died unexpectedly last month at the age of 18.

On defense for the Eagles, Hauck pressured the quarterback five five times, sacked the quarterback three times and posted 17 stops.
Kelly leaves behind the best of himself: positivity, energy, passion for the game of football and love for his teammates. Those four pillars will be the foundation for what could be another state championship for Avon this season.
As a team captain for the 2025 season, Hauck has a great work ethic and toils and trains every day to get stronger and to get better at his craft by perfecting his technique.
Hauck trains with Dale Rodick, Offensive and Defensive Line Specialist and founder of the Linemen Lab. He is also the Director and Performance Coach at T3 Football.
Hauck possesses elite athleticism as he also excels at track and field, where he throws the discus and the shot put. He turned in personal bests of 149 feet in the discus event and 50 feet in the shot put. In addition, Hauck has a 77-inch wingspan, a 4.5 5/10/5 shuttle run and a 27-inch vertical leap.
Hauck is elite in the classroom as well, where he maintains a 3.8 GPA. Colleges that have expressed interest in Hauck include Buffalo, Kent State, Toledo, Ohio, Cincinnati, Cornell and Colgate.
The Godfather of Recruiting, Mike Farrell, said this about Hauck,
“2026 verified 3-star OL Maximus Hauck is a beast at 6-3, 295 with great technique.”
