The Best Way to End the Scheduling Debate

For his efforts, Heilman earned Second-Team All-Jefferson District honors last season. He has received interest from FCS schools and one FBS program, Georgia Tech.

Heilman is a leader on the field and exhibits a strong work ethic. As a result, he was also named the team MVP by the Falcon Club.

This upcoming season, expect more college coaches to make the trip out to the practice field at Western Albemarle High School to get a closer look at Heilman throwing the pigskin around.

The Godfather of Recruiting, Mike Farrell, had this to say about Heilman,

“2026 verified 3-star QB Gray Heilman is big at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds and can run. Can make all the throws.”
