Williams is 6’3” and 210 pounds, he plays at one of the most storied high schools in California: Long Beach Poly. In just a four-day span, he received scholarship offers from Tennessee, Nebraska, and Alabama to add to his growing list of 28 offers. “Great program, great legacy and you’ve gotta respect what they’ve done. I go to Long Beach Poly, so I’m used to playing at a school with a legacy of success and deep tradition,” said Williams.

With the 2024 class starting, it seems like every school is going after Williams. “Oregon, Texas, Alabama, UCLA, Michigan, Utah, Tennessee, Miami, Colorado, Washington, Penn State, Ole Miss, Arizona, and Maryland. Each school is on me very hard, hitting me up every day and letting me know I’m a top priority for them.”
One of his more recent visits was to Oregon, which was his second time stopping by Eugene, and Ducks defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi is making an impact in Dylan’s recruitment. “That dude is the realest, that’s the type of coach you want to play for, we have a great relationship, I talk to him at least once or twice a week.”

Williams already knows where he’ll be heading come springtime. “I was in Washington last weekend, and I plan on getting to Miami, Michigan, Alabama, Tennessee, and USC, in the spring.” Williams hasn’t been back to visit USC since October of last year, which was just before backing off his commitment to USC. The Trojans still seem to be a viable landing spot for the California native, “Yeah, they’re still on my radar!,” said Williams about USC.
It will be interesting to see how Dylan’s recruitment finishes later down the line. Whether it’s re-honoring his commitment to USC or choosing to go to any school in the country, Williams is a player that can make an immediate impact early on in his college career.
