Scouting Report

The 6’1, 195 pound Gomez has a lively arm, with overall good accuracy. He can drop the ball in the bucket from deep and accurately find a receiver at the intermediate range. The Hanford, CA product has a good throwing motion, but the footwork needs to improve. He also doesn’t go through progressions, and in many plays, the backside receivers don’t even run routes. Gomez can extend plays and run in short yardage situations, but he isn’t a major threat on the ground. Gomez has a good floor with his arm and accuracy, but must show improvement working through his progressions.
