Carter is a highly recruited OT prospect with good height and weight for the position. He has aood athletic ability with very good balance and explosiveness, good foot quickness and lateral agility, and solid foot speed. He is a very good pass blocker, with good set points, and very good balance and body control. Punches with good strengh and speed to engage the pass rusher, and displays a solid anchor, and good recovery to keep a half-man relationship. He has very good processing of stunts and twists and is not fazed by blitz schemes. Very good inline run blocker, with good explosion and drive off the snap with good block fits on base, down, and double teams. Has good agility on pull blocks and good angle processing to block backers on the second level. Good finish on his blocks, able to turn defender away from the ball carrier and drive him to the ground. Overall, a very good prospect who can find his way into a starting line up in year one or two at a Power-5 program.
