Solid height and good size. Good athletic ability with good hand quickness, explosion, balance, and solid foot quickness and speed. Very good run-blocking technique with very good initial footwork in Gap and Zone blocking with good angles to his target. Utilizes his good hand quickness to quickly engage a defender with good pad level, driving his hands up into his pads with good leg drive and sustain on the block with good finish driving defenders to the ground. Good ability to block backers in Gap schemes and as a lead blocker in screen plays. Very good pass protection, with good footwork and balance in his set points and good quickness and strength in his initial punch and displays good mirror and counter to pass rush moves by swatting away defenders’ hands to place them off balance. Good processing to pass off linemen to pick up a linebacker blitz or stunt while remaining balanced. Good anchor with good flexibility to drop his hips and prevent walk back. Will overcommit to blocks that he has finished by staying on defenders he had taken to the ground and not looking to make another block downfield. Overall, a very good prospect who displays the size, technique, and mental processing to start at a Power-4 program.
