Scouting Report

Elite height and very good size, with a sturdy frame. Very good athlete at his size with very good foot quickness, hand quickness, explosion, and lateral movement with good balance. Quick off the stance with good initial footwork to set himself in position to make a block, with very good lateral movement in Zone blocks to create leverage against the defender. Very good Gap blocking with very good explosion and drive when engaging a block, and good processing of when to leave double teams and pick up backers. Good finish on blocks to push defenders to the ground. Very good Pass Pro utilizing his foot quickness to have very good set points with very good hand quickness and placement keeping defenders out of his chest with a strong initial punch. Very good ability to counter pass rush moves keeping a half-man relationship and pass off defensive ends to pick up linebackers. Very good anchor ability to drop hips and prevent walk back. He does have a little bend at the waist and can take his game to the next level by finishing blocks sooner and staying on his feet as he drives defenders to the ground to be able to look for a second block at the next level. Projects to be a starter at a Power 5 school early in his career

Grade: 94/100
