Scouting Report

Harden has solid height and good weight. Displays solid AA with good play strength, solid footwork, explosiveness, and contact balance. Shows solid gap-blocking ability in the run game which is mainly due to his size in that he is bigger than most defenders, but does show solid mental processing to locate his assignment, and execute blocks with solid footwork, competitive toughness, and a solid initial punch due to his good play strength. Displays solid zone-blocking ability on reach blocks with solid mental processing to locate his block and solid footwork to move in short areas of space. Shows solid pass protection ability to establish himself with solid footwork while maintaining a good anchor with good play strength and solid form. Adequate lateral agility. Adequate zone-blocking on lead blocks; doesn’t excel when having to lead block in space due to the lack of lateral agility. Adequate quickness when getting to his set points. Projects as a developmental OT who will take a couple of years to round out his game. Played lots of IOL in high school, so he could project there where his ability in the run game can shine as a people mover
