Adequate height with good weight and very good length. Very good function strength, solid lateral quickness, and adequate speed. Strong initial punch to slow down the rush. Good Gap and Zone blocker, utilizes his strength and length to generate drive and keep defenders on their heels. Has good ability to bend and sink his hips to defend the outside. Good anchor ability, maintains the integrity of the pocket against good or worse power rushers. Good mental processing to pick up oncoming defenders and pass off to the inside as needed. Very good competitive toughness, can see how much he enjoys being physical and his desire to help his team succeed. Stiff on pull blocks and loses leverage while moving. Adequate speed through his set points and needs to work on his footwork. Lacks a refined tecnique kit to counter finesse moves by defenders. Length, strength, and intangibles project well for his success at the next level. Not the best pass defender right now and may see himself move inside if he does not develop as needed. Should provide a huge payoff for any team that can take 2 years to develop him into a good to very good tackle given his physical gifts and mental fortitude.
