Standing at 6-4 210 pounds, Paxron Land has a great build for the QB position. Paxton is a first-year starter at the QB factory Austin Westlake and replaces Clemson starter Cade Klubnik. Paxton displays an ok three-step drop, along with an understanding of pocket presence. He can throw 50/50 balls and balls into deep coverage as he trusts his receivers. He does a decent job of avoiding pressure and seems aware of how to move around the pocket. His running ability is solid, and he can make plays with his legs when needed. He has a decent arm and is capable of making throws to all three levels of the field. His accuracy is decent but can be improved as he tends to overthrow/underthrow at times. Land is a project QB who can progress with time and currently projects as a G5 QB at the college level.
