Scouting Report

Davis has good height and solid weight. Displays very good AA with very good acceleration, contact balance, good play strength, and COD. Shows good inside running ability with good vision to read his block as well as good COD to cut in his gap combined with very good acceleration to get upfield while also not being afraid to take contact thanks to his very good contact balance, good play strength, and competitive toughness. Shows very good outside running ability to get the edge by following his blocks on Zone runs or sweep/Motion and uses his very good acceleration to get to open space and burn defenders. Shows solid involvement in the passing game with solid route development and good hands to catch while moving. Adequate patience on inside runs; doesn’t let his blocks develop before he hits the hole. Adequate burst; hits the hole at full speed rather than letting blocks develop. Adequate route timing; was seen having to come back to the ball. Can see him as a rotational RB who should be utilized as an outside runner. Isn’t going to be your bruiser-type back who you send up the middle, rather he should be an RB you use in space/motion to spotlight his AA in space.

Grade: 92/100
