Scouting Report

Howard has adequate height and weight. Displays good AA with good acceleration, COD, contact balance, and solid foot quickness. Shows good inside rushing ability with solid vision to find the open gap and uses good acceleration to shoot through it and gain yards upfield while also not being afraid to initiate contact and gain tough yards. Shows good outside rushing ability to get to the edge quickly with good acceleration and can make defenders miss in open space with good COD and cutting ability. Marginal burst; doesn’t show patience to let his blocks develop, he hits the hole at the same speed each run and is seen running into the backs of his OL often. Adequate involvement in the passing game; didn’t show much on tape. Needs to work on his burst but should be prioritized as an RB who can run in between the tackles, while also having the capability to take it outside. Seen as a “jack of all trades, master of none” type of back in that he can execute in multiple schemes and be solid all around, but isn’t going to be the feature guy
