Scouting Report

Marginal height with a filled-out frame. Elite speed with very good agility, acceleration, and change of direction. Keys mismatches on the line before the snap on Zone runs. Willing to take what he can get inside rather than dance around and risk it on the outside. Elite outside running ability, utilizes his balance, speed, and COD to get around the corner quickly before the DE/Edge has the chance to disengage. Very good runner in the open field and utilizes his athletic ability to consistently turn medium runs into large gains. Elite balance and bend allows him to dodge oncoming defenders with precision. Soft hands and is a threat out of the backfield/in open space as a receiver with his speed Size is a concern as he’s measured at 5’8 multiple times. Impatient runner that needs to let his blocks develop before bursting. Size limits his effectiveness on short-yardage and inside runs. Timing on routes needs work, often catching out of stride and throwing off the rhythm of plays. High value on special teams and would want him returning kicks and operating as a gunner on punts if willing. Never going to be a workhorse back with his size but will bring plenty of value complementing a bruiser back. Athletic ability is already on par with many SEC athletes.
