Keelon Russell
#38 NAT, #6 QB, #10 TX
Committed to Alabama
At one point, Elite 11 participant Keelon Russell was the centerpiece for an SMU recruiting class moving up to the ACC. A late riser up the recruiting rankings, Russell finds a fancier home in Tuscaloosa fresh off an official visit. The two-time Texas 6A State Champion is a very efficient passer and a tremendous dual-threat with a great chance of winning three in a row.
Meanwhile for Alabama, it’s Kalen DeBoer‘s first quarterback commit since taking charge and it sures up the position for the future. His developmental ability certainly wasn’t in question (Hello Michael Penix Jr.) and he closes a big one here. The 247 Sports Composite tabs him as their second-best player as the Tide maintain their spot with the eight-ranked 2025 class. Russell has canceled his other official visits to Florida and Oregon and seems very unlikely to flip again.

Bo Jackson
#81 NAT, #5 ATH, #5 OH
Committed to Ohio State
Ohio State prides itself on keeping the state’s top players home. They had previously secured commitments from the state’s best and third-best players, and now claim No. 5 following a successful official visit. While technically listed as an Athlete, Bo Jackson will be playing running back for the Buckeyes. Like the famous Auburn running back with the same name, this Bo also plays Baseball and runs Track. However, he will only compete in football at Ohio State.
The Cleveland, OH (Villa Angela-St. Joseph) native is the 13th 2025 commit for Ohio State who has a serious chance of finishing with the year’s top class. They only trail Notre Dame, but one more commit will likely push the Buckeyes ahead. Closing on Jackson was key for the must-have recruit as Alabama and Georgia made him a priority. Alongside Ohio State, those two received the only OVs, although Jackson’s Alabama visit will likely be canceled.

Cameron Dyer
#618 NAT, #44 QB, #3 NM
Committed to Arizona State
Arizona State already had the top class in the Big 12. With Cameron Dyer, they only add to it. The three-sport athlete is dynamic and despite being listed as a QB, will play receiver for the Sun Devils. Coming from Albuquerque, New Mexico (La Cueva), he was also recruited as a safety at Texas Tech and Utah, and as a quarterback for other schools.
The New Mexico Gatorade Player of the Year had 55 combined touchdowns as a Junior with nearly 2,900 passing and 1,500 rushing yards. His efforts led La Cueva to a New Mexico 6A State Championship. It’s unknown if he’ll play receiver in his Senior season, but either way is a great pull for Kenny Dillingham and receiver coach Hines Ward following an OV.

JP Powell
#680 NAT, #55 RB, #75 GA
Committed to Georgia Tech
Last week, Georgia Tech had three 2025 commits. They’ve doubled that since then after a successful OV weekend. The latest is Coolidge, GA (Miller County) native JP Powell. He’s an important coup for Brent Key, possessing four SEC offers who had a trip to Starkville upcoming. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the 5’11” 185-pound back stated his recruitment is locked down, likely canceling that visit.
Outside of football, Powell is a state champion in the 100m dash, possessing an impressive 10.44 time. On the gridiron, he also played safety and returned kicks for Miller County. Definitely a kid to watch in the future with high upside.

Jhrevious Hall
#793 NAT, #82 DL, #23 TN
Committed to Indiana
A pluck from the south with notable offers, 6’2″ 270-pound Jhrevious Hall is a quality pickup for the Hoosiers. His 11 offers included four SEC schools eyeing the Columbia, TN (Columbia Central) native. Hall makes the third Hoosier to join in June, making 11 total commits, all being three-star prospects. He’s the first defensive lineman of the class.
Following a junior season with 82 tackles, 30 for loss, 13 sacks, and four forced fumbles, Hall becomes Indiana’s first defensive line commit in 2025. His commitment was enough to push the Hoosiers inside the top 25, although they were later overtaken by Stanford.
