Everyone loves lists. The best this, the strongest that. Let’s apply that randomly to college football, shall we?
Best non-QB draft prospects.
1. WR Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State
2. TE Brock Bowers, Georgia
3. OT Olu Fashanu, Penn State
4. EDGE Jared Verse, Florida State
5. EDGE Dallas Turner, Alabama
Breakdown:
Harrison Jr. won’t go No. 1 overall, but he probably should, and while Bowers has a chance to be in the Kyle Pitts draft range. Fashanu coming back to school has made him even better, while Verse and Turner can change games alone off the edge.

Most polarizing coaches.
1. Jim Harbaugh, Michigan
2. Deion Sanders, Colorado
3. Dabo Swinney, Clemson
4. Lincoln Riley, USC
5. Ryan Day, Ohio State
Breakdown:
Harbaugh takes over from Deion because of the signal-stealing scandal, and it’s becoming more and more obvious he had to have known. Sanders and his “Daddy Ball” are getting tired at CU. While Dabo has won a few recently, his refusal to use the portal and his thin skin have many hating on him. Riley has been a fraud at USC, and his refusal to make meaningful defensive changes is catching up to him. Lastly, people love to hate on Day, whether it’s his Lou Holtz hatred or the fact that he can’t beat Michigan.

Overpaid coaches.
1. Lincoln Riley, USC
2. Jimbo Fisher, Texas A&M
3. Brian Kelly, LSU
4. James Franklin, Penn State
5. Mark Stoops, Kentucky
Breakdown:
Lincoln Riley is stealing money in LA, dropping to 7-5 this season and waiting too long to fire Alex Grinch. Jimbo isn’t overpaid anymore, except for the fact he’ll be cashing $76 million from A&M for being an absolute failure. LSU is solid, but BK is making too much money to have that kind of defense while Franklin gets raises every year, it seems, for losing to Ohio State and Michigan. And Stoops makes a ton of money, and this team has been a real disappointment this season and is headed in the wrong direction.
