Welcome to my Week 8 QB Power Rankings. These rankings will be published throughout the season to highlight the top 10 signal-callers in the country as we progress. To ensure fairness and impartiality, the primary factors considered in this year’s rankings are on-field production and QBR, regardless of team record or conference affiliation.
Quarterbacks will be evaluated based on their individual performances, with weekly updates to reflect how they’re playing. If your team’s quarterback isn’t listed yet, don’t worry—consistent standout performances will get them on the radar for consideration.
Why does QBR matter?
The quarterback rating (QBR) offers a comprehensive look into a QB’s on-field production. It goes beyond raw stats, providing more accurate and insightful evaluations. A QB’s overall contribution to the game often determines who will come out on top. Generally, the higher the QBR, the more successful the offense tends to be.
