As draft season rapidly approaches, I will give my 10 favorite players for each position. Let’s move on to the RBs.

  • Quarterbacks
  • Running Backs
  • Wide Receivers

1. Brock Bowers, Georgia

— The obvious No. 1 TE and only first-round value. He could be special.

Sep 24, 2022; Athens, Georgia, USA; Georgia Bulldogs tight end Brock Bowers (19) runs for a touchdown against the Kent State Golden Flashes during the first quarter at Sanford Stadium.

2. Theo Johnson, Penn State

— I like him at No. 2 as I think he can stretch the field but also handle himself blocking.

Penn State tight end Theo Johnson catches a pass on the first offensive play of the game during an NCAA football game against Rutgers Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, in State College, Pa. The Nittany Lions won, 27-6.

3. Ja’Tavion Sanders, Texas

— He’s a freak athlete who hasn’t put it all together yet but is worth a day-two pick.

4. Cade Stover, Ohio State

— A big drop-off in athleticism here but he could be a solid TE for a while.

Sep 24, 2022; Columbus, Ohio, USA; Ohio State Buckeyes tight end Cade Stover (8) celebrates scoring a touchdown during the first half of the NCAA Division I football game against the Wisconsin Badgers at Ohio Stadium.

5. Jaheim Bell, Florida State

— He’s good but isn’t well-rounded enough for a higher pick.

Oct 21, 2023; Tallahassee, Florida, USA; Florida State Seminoles tight end Jaheim Bell (6) runs the ball against the Duke Blue Devils in the first half at Doak S. Campbell Stadium.

6. Ben Sinnott, Kansas State

— He’s a hard-nosed kid and a very good blocker but he won’t scare you in the passing game.

Dec 31, 2022; New Orleans, LA, USA; Kansas State Wildcats tight end Ben Sinnott (34) reacts after getting first down against the Alabama Crimson Tide during the first half in the 2022 Sugar Bowl at Caesars Superdome.

7. Dallin Holker, Colorado State

— A sleeper who hasn’t done it on a big stage who could be a solid TE2 for someone.

Colorado State tight end Dallin Holker (5) runs the ball in for a touchdown against MTSU during MTSU's Homecoming football game at Floyd Stadium, on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023.

8. Tip Reiman, Illinois

— Raw and hasn’t been targeted enough for my liking.

Nov 25, 2023; Champaign, Illinois, USA; Illinois Fighting Illini tight end Tip Reiman (89) is tackled by Northwestern Wildcats linebacker Bryce Gallagher (32) during the first half at Memorial Stadium.

9. Jared Wiley, TCU

— I want him to be better because he’s such a huge target.

Dec 3, 2022; Arlington, TX, USA; TCU Horned Frogs tight end Jared Wiley (19) reacts after a catch during the first quarter against the Kansas State Wildcats at AT&T Stadium.

10. AJ Barner, Michigan

— Not great at anything but his toughness will keep him around.

Michigan Wolverines tight end AJ Barner (89) makes a catch against Michigan State Spartans defensive back Chester Kimbrough (12) during second-half action at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023.
