After taking care of the quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers, here’s a look at my top 25 tight ends for the prep class of 2023.

Top 5

1. Duce Robinson, Undecided

— Tall, athletic, and plays like a wide receiver downfield.

2. Riley Williams, Miami

— I like him better than most, he’s big and fluid.

3. Pearce Spurlin, Georgia

— The next great one at UGA? He has the skillset.

4. Ethan Davis, Tennessee

— Hoops star as well overshadowed by Travis Hunter a season ago.

5. Andrew Rappleyea, Penn State

— Tall kid who has sneaky downfield speed and is a great athlete.

— Iowa doesn’t miss at TE, but this kid can also play DE.

8. Cooper Flanagan, Notre Dame

— Big blocker who just starting to hone his receiving skills.

9. Brennan Parachek, Michigan State

— One of the most physically ready of the TEs in this class.

10. Jelani Thurman, Ohio State

— Great athlete from an elite athletic family, he’s a natural pass catcher.

— H-back type who can line up all over the field.

12. Mac Markway, LSU

— Physical kid who can block and gain YAC.

13. Shamar Easter, Arkansas

— Long and angular, he’s a big target and reliable.

— Great catch radius and good body control.

15. Luke Hasz, Arkansas

— Flex tight end could also be used as an h-back.

16. Ty Lockwood, Alabama

— Can be inline or flex and has a good frame to add weight.

17. Jaden Platt, Texas A&M

— Former QB has great size and just reaching potential.

18. Jackson Bowers, BYU

— Big inline tight end who posts up and blocks.
