After taking care of the quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, here’s a look at my top 25 tight ends for the prep class of 2023.

Mike Farrell’s top 25 offensive tackles for the class of 2023

Top 5

1. Kadyn Proctor, Alabama

— Midwest OL has great feet and mauls.

2. Francis Mauigoa, Miami

— Elite athlete who could be special.

3. J’Ven Williams, Penn State

— Raw in some aspects but upside is elite.

4. Zalance Heard, LSU

— Massive and thick and one of the stronger players in this class.

5. Luke Montgomery, Ohio State

— I have him as a tackle but he could easily play any position.

Biggest Surprise and Biggest Disappointment in the ACC Will Be?

Sep 3, 2022; Columbus, Ohio, USA; Ohio State Buckeye recruit OL Luke Montgomery (2023) before the NCAA football game between Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Ohio Stadium.

Numbers 6-10

6. Charles Jagusah, Notre Dame

— Great length and athleticism.

7. Wilkin Formby, Alabama

— I like him better than others, just a nasty lineman.

8. Bo Hughley, Georgia

— Upside is off the charts with his build and frame.

9. Cayden Green, Oklahoma

— Massive kid with sneaky athleticism.

10. Spencer Fano, Utah

— Not as long as others, but has amazing feet.

Utah OL Spencer Fano has shined at #PolyBowl2k23 practice this week. Utes struck gold w/ this addition. ?@FanoSpencer @SportsRecruits @BrandonHuffman @GregBiggins pic.twitter.com/pKkET4qnFm

Rest of the Top 25

11. Chase Bisontis, Texas A&M

— Jersey tough and could play OT or OG

12. Monroe Freeling, Georgia

— Nasty OL could play LT or RT.

13. Lucas Simmons, Florida State

— Love his bend despite being so tall.

14. Zechariah Owens, Clemson

— Just an absolute road grading monster.

15. Samson Okunlola, Miami

— Great frame and size but more raw than many think.

Thayer Academy’s Samson Okunlola, of Brockton, blocks a pass rusher during a game against Milton Academy on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022.

16. Olaus Alinen, Alabama

— The third OT on this list for Alabama which is no surprise.

17. Tyree Adams, LSU

— Overlooked a bit but could be a three year starter.

18. Elijah Page, USC

— Tall with good reach and excellent feet.

19. Payton Kirkland, Texas

— Massive kid who could kick inside as well.

20. Miles McVay, Alabama

— Another Alabama player? He’s likely to start inside but has OT potential.

Alabama football’s newest 4-Star OL commit, Miles McVay is a massive offensive lineman at 6-foot-7 and 340 pounds.

He blocks well in space, and he carries his weight well. @Jdsmith31Smith

21. Oluwatosin Babalade, South Carolina

— Still learning the game but can’t teach this athletic ability.

22. Shamurad Umarov, Tennessee

— Could play inside as well and is an elite run blocker.

23. Evan Link, Michigan

— Big and physical kid who has elite footwork.

24. Stanton Ramil, Michigan State

— Still raw but an excellent pull from the Southeast.

25. Isaiah Robinson, Baylor
