2024 recruiting is wrapped up. I’m rolling through the most important commits at every position. Here are the most important OL signings this cycle, in my humble opinion. You can find other positions here:

  • Quarterbacks
  • Running Backs
  • Wide Receivers
  • Tight Ends

1. Jordan Seaton to Colorado

— There is no bigger positional need in college football than OL at Colorado and Deion Sanders hit a home run here.

Recruit Jordan Seaton visits Ohio Stadium during the Ohio State, Michigan game. Jordan Seaton

2. Brandon Baker to Texas

— A massive get from California, this is a recruiting flex by Steve Sarkisian.

2024 five-star offensive tackle Brandon Baker from Santa Ana, CA (Mater Dei) - Committed to Texas

3. Josiah Thompson to South Carolina

— A massive get, literally and figuratively, for Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks. This is a kid who normally gets away.

4. Grant Brix to Nebraska

— A nasty Midwestern OL is what Nebraska used to turn into gold back in the day. Matt Rhule is hoping to return to those days.

Grant Brix doesn’t have a single Pass Pro rep in his HS highlights, but it really doesn’t matter when you can fire off the ball like this.

5. Cody Fox to Iowa

— He’s an in-state get, which is expected for Iowa, but after the loss of Kadyn Proctor last year, this is huge. Now, with Proctor back? Watch out.

2024 four-star offensive lineman Cody Fox from Winthrop, IA (East Buchanan Community) - Committed to Iowa

6. Cooper Cousins to Penn State

— Penn State’s OL recruiting has been excellent the last couple of years, and this is an important in-state keep.

McDowell High School senior Ben Moore, center, throws against Erie High behind the blocks of senior Joey Orlando, left, and junior Cooper Cousins, right, during a District 10, Region 6 football game in Millcreek Township on Sept. 16, 2022.

7. Ian Moore to Ohio State

— He could be the top OG in the country and another Midwest monster for Ohio State.

New Palestine Dragons offensive lineman Ian Moore (70) yells in excitement on Friday, August 19, 2022 at New Palestine High School in New Palestine. New Palestine Dragons defeated the Westfield Shamrocks, 48-28.

8. Eugene Brooks to Oklahoma

— A great get from the West Coast and a potential plug-and-play kid.

9. Guerby Lambert to Notre Dame

— A nasty New England mauler will fit in perfectly at Notre Dame.
